I was happy to see you mention... Oh my goodness, I LOVE your articles for this reason... Thanks for sharing your experiences here...

COMMENTARY|               Whenever               a               television               spinoff               is               announced               the               usual               "Too               much               of               a               good               thing"               argument               inevitably               pops               up.

While               successful               spinoffs               are               nothing               new,               failing               spinoffs               seem               to               be               just               as               common.

For               that               reason,               when               a               show               like               AMC's               "The               Walking               Dead"               is               prepping               another               series,               according               to               MNN,               critics               and               advertising               executives               jump               to               attention               and               fans               get               a               little               squeamish               in               their               seats.
According               to               the               Star-Ledger,               "The               Walking               Dead"               has               just               been               renewed               for               a               fifth               season,               which               is               not               a               surprise               when               the               show               is               beating               the               World               Series               and               the               NFL               in               the               ratings               game.

However,               the               spinoff               will               not               be               centered               around               the               current               group               of               survivors               or               even               set               in               the               same               location.

Fans               get               a               new               series,               AMC               gets               more               advertising               dollars,               and               Kirkman               and               his               team               get               to               tell               stories               that               have               been               off               limits               because               they               simply               do               not               take               place               with               the               current               team               of               survivors.
